The Tokina lens has a really unique distortion around the edges making great landscape pictures… and my eye look more humongo jumbo. O_O

Experimenting with Lightroom tones and curves and things. I’ve been trying new things so I can learn more. I like variety and I really do love learning.. an overall reason why I miss going to classes (nerd alert!).
P.S. Whenever I take pictures of myself on my Canon (ugh, that sounded kinda vain), I flip the screen out and I forget to look at the lens. Thus, I look like a giddy, lovesick 14 year old girl looking off to the distance. Pardon me.
I may or may not spend the rest of my LAST Saturday night in Boston in my rum cleaning, packing, watching movies/episodes, bumming, blogging, fatassing, and preparing for my first 10k run tomorrow. I would really love some company so I’m not #foreveralone.

Really! I like talking and I think I’m the least intimidating person in this galaxy. I’d like to ask you questions too! Why you may ask? Refer to bolded text in paragraph 1. :)

Reflection: March 2011 FLEW by.  I barely remember what I did last month. But anyway, for March I decided to stick with the theme “Pieces of Me”. Basically, I’m in every picture physically in some way. I’m using it as a way to slowly be comfortable with taking pictures of myself (not just self-portraits, but being in front of the camera rather than behind it. I’m EXTREMELY and HORRIBLY insecure/self-conscious.) This month really taught me how to focus on certain spots while having my camera on self-timer.  It also taught me how to deal with shitty school dorm lighting (Almost ALL of them were taken in my room. I’d slam the door close because it would be awkward if my roommates walked in. Sorry roomies.) and a lot of zooming and re-cropping to give the illusion I’m skinnier. :D I gotta say, this one’s my favorite theme so far. Here is my video for March of Project 365.

Song is Dream by Priscilla Ahn. (No, not Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson.  Though it was considered.)
